Quinn Going After The Win
Author : Sprintcars Australia

One of the real wild cards at this weekend’s Australian Prosprints Championship could be regular Murray Bridge racer Brendan Quinn. Quinn is a former South Australian 360ci Sprintcar Champion and a previous winner of the Allstar Challenge at the Simpson Speedway therefore he knows how to win big races.

Over the later half of the domestic season at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway Quinn has been racing upfront and challenging for A-Main victories. In fact, at the previous 410ci Sprintcar race, the Ross Wright Memorial, Quinn campaigned his 360ci powerplant in preparation for the Australian Championship, but you wouldn’t have known it as he won the mid-pack madness race in impressive fashion.

“We really needed the laps around Murray Bridge with the 360 engine before the Title. It was all about seeing what we had and trying out a few things. You learn a whole lot more racing than you would at practice so we decided to run it. Everything ran pretty well so we will see what happens over the weekend” added Brendan at the track.

With all of the attention being focused on the likes of McHugh, Ryan Jones, Callum Williamson, Brenten Farrer and the Caruso’s, Quinn maybe an underdog but he has the talent to win this weekend.

The 2023 Australian Prosprints Championship will be conducted at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway between March 23 – 25, 2023 with the entry list now standing at 28 drivers from six Australian states.
