Pestka To Run LS In Prosprints Title
Author : Sprintcars Australia

After conceding on the podium last weekend that his race team hadn’t been able to source an engine for the upcoming Australian Prosprints Championship at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway, Daniel Pestka is now a late nomination after striking a last minute deal.

With a majority of the field utilising the traditional 360ci steel block Pestka’s number 27 Triple X Chassis will be powered by an LS Engine. The engine has been sourced from a race team that has a long history racing LS powered Sprintcars but it will be the first time that Pestka has driven the newly approved engine package.

“We have managed to find a LS to run next weekend. We are picking it up this weekend. I’m not really sure how many of the LS engines there are but we will give it a go and see what happens” added Daniel as we spoke during the week.

The 2023 Australian Prosprints Championship will be conducted at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway between March 23 – 25, 2023 with the entry list now standing at 28 drivers from six Australian states.
