DUMESNY DUO SEEK HISTORY IN FINAL ARCHERFIELD AUSSIE TITLE.
Author : Sprintcars Australia

The pair of them have Sprintcar history streaming through their bodies.

Born into the sport, though Matt was originally a handy MX racer, their path (like older brother Mitchell who was a two-time PCR Track Champion) was always going to lead to the winged monsters.

With their Grandad Sid, their Mum Melinda and Dad Max all with their own proud stories in Sprintcars the two youngest Dumesnys have been quick to forge their own careers with respective successes.

The last time the Aussie title was held in Latrobe Marcus in particular was a bullet. He’d been scorching at The Classic the week before and he finished with a stout runner up spot to Jamie Veal in the National title.

Matt recently broke his hoodoo at Warrnambool to win the Victorian title and Marcus finished runner up in the NSW title at Eastern Creek Speedway last weekend.

The duo has every right to feel they each have a claim on winning the Titan Garages and Sheds 59th SCCA Australian Sprintcar Championship and go into the history books with their famous father Max and his three successes.

Making history is what Dumesnys do.

The 59th running of the Titan Garages and Sheds SCCA Australian Sprintcar Championship is scheduled for Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1, 2022 at Archerfield Speedway Queensland.
