Author : Sprintcars Australia

Aaron Kelly was pretty well born there. Archerfield Speedway has been the most significant location of his life outside of the family home, so the poignancy of a chance to race in what will be the last ever Australian Sprintcar Championship on ‘home clay’ is a moment not lost on the Springwood third generation racer.

In the short time he’s been in the game AK has achieved success in the both the East Coast Logistics Series and the Sprintcars Queensland Club Championship and also shown considerable speed at his new sister track Eastern Creek Speedway.

One of several Queensland young guns set to shake up the more seasoned adversaries in the field Kelly will have his lucky charm JW Hunt strawberry in place and his confidence adjusted accordingly.

The RAW Metal Corp / TFH #7 entry is primed and ready and so is Kelly.

There’s no reason not to believe he’s capable of a top five or even podium result in the 59th SCCA Australian Sprintcar Championship presented by Titan Garages and Sheds this Saturday and Sunday night but why not dare to dream.

To dream to become the third Queensland Aussie champ and the first in his family to do so.

The 59th running of the Titan Garages and Sheds SCCA Australian Sprintcar Championship is scheduled for Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1, 2022 at Archerfield Speedway Queensland.
