The 35 lap $5,000 to win ‘Battle at the Bullring’ also doubles as round 5 of the ‘Sprintcar Super Series’ a 7 round series which will be run across the states of Victoria and South Australia.

With our opening event being sold out when limited to 1000 fans we are happy to announce our updated covid plan now allows us an increase in crowd numbers to 1800.

“The Bordertown Speedway Club was thrilled with the support and feedback received from the teams, drivers and racefans at our re-opening event” said club President Wayne Rowett. “We want Bordertown to become an integral part of the regular speedway schedule and we plan to make this picturesque country venue one all race teams and racefans feel welcome at”.

Among the first to nominate is last start winner Daniel Pestka who was thrilled with his victory back in December. “I’ve been there quite a lot over the last 8-10 years and I really like going there, the place has a good atmosphere with the people and cars around the track. It helps when you win one but I really enjoyed the format and we didn’t tear up tyres, it was one of the better meetings of the year”.

With nominations from former Australian champions James McFadden and David Murcott and more top class nominations expected plus Monday 25th being the day before Australia Day, we expect racefans to travel from both sides of the border for what will be Bordertown Speedway’s biggest event yet.

Tickets went on sale last Wednesday and are selling fast so make sure you purchase your tickets as soon as possible via https://www.trybooking.com/BOCPB.
