Work behind the scenes continues on the proposed calendar for the 2020-21 Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series for Western Australia.

All along we have prefaced calendar talks by saying they are subject to change and subject to COVID-19 restrictions.

At this stage the season will now start at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday, October 31.

Discussions between the series and Ellenbrook Speedway are underway with the view to holding a round there on January 2 - but we stress that this is only a proposal at this stage - and more details will be released as they come to hand.
