Former Sprintcar Control Council of Australia Inc. Secretary/Treasurer Ms Vivienne Lewis, who was stood down from the position in 2017, plead guilty in January this year to 62 offences of Fraud under Section 192E of the New South Wales Crimes Act.
In the Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday 2nd June, the Magistrate sentenced Ms Lewis to 16 months imprisonment, to be served by way of an intensive correction order (ICO) for 12 months followed by 4 months parole. Conditions include being subject to home detention and supervision. Ms Lewis was also ordered to repay the SCCA the maximum jurisdictional limit the Local Court can order.
