SUPERCARS STAR TO SHAKE UP WORLD eSERIES GRAND FINAL
Author : Speedway Australia

This year’s inaugural Queensland Speedway Spares (QSS) World eSeries Sprintcars Championship has attracted the very best from the world of Sprintcars, eSports and even Formula 1, but this weekends Western Swing will witness reigning Supercars, and Bathurst 1000 Champion Scott McLaughlin try his hand on the digital dirt track of iRacing’s Knoxville Speedway, in Australia’s premier eSports Sprintcar Series.

McLaughlin will join a record number of entries for this weekend’s Western Swing, headed by current World eSeries Sprintcars points leader Tim Ryan. Ryan and his J & S Drilling Motorsport eSports team hold a slender 68-point lead over World Series Rookie of the Year, Jock Goodyer Racing. With a possible 720 points on offer across the Western Swing weekend, any one of the top-38 drivers are still in with a shout of an outright series title.

Nominations are still open for this weekends event, with competitors looking to hone their skills on iRacing’s Knoxville Speedway able to do so tonight and tomorrow courtesy of Speedway Australia eSports leagues mid-week racing.

Tonight’s events are courtesy of Speedway Star - Tours & Apparel, with a total of 6 races to cover all time zones.
