The Dumesny name returned to victory lane at the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at the Premier Speedway with Marcus Dumesny taking a nail bitting win over Kerry Madsen and Cory Eliason. After starting on the pole Dumesny led early but was rounded up by Madsen on lap 8 but he didn’t panic and retook the lead 3 laps later and from that point he went on to score a popular win.

Fourth place went to the hard charging American Tim Shaffer in the Brad Keller Racing #19 with former Champions Steven Lines, Jamie Veal and Corey McCullagh completing the top seven. Lachlan McHugh looked more at home in the Family owned #23 as he ran eighth while Ian Madsen and Kalib Henry completed the top 10.

The night began with local residents Jamie Veal and Corey McCullagh setting the quickest times in their qualifying flights with Veal setting the quickest overall time of 10.720 seconds.

Heat winners on the night included Jamie Veal, Danny Reidy, Jessie Attard, Kerry Madsen, Ian Madsen, Charles Hunter, Brooke Tatnell, Dennis Jones, Steven Lines, Lisa Walker, Chris McInerney and American Tim Shaffer.

The C-Main saw Domain Ramsay, Chris McInerney, Jordyn Brazier and Rhys Baxter transfer into the B-Main while David Murcott, Californian Kalib Henry, John Vogels and Dennis Jones made into the final via the B-Main.

The main incident of the night occurred in the B-Main when McKenna Hasse and James Aranyosi made contact on the back straight with both cars rolling hard in turn three.
