Ellis Boosted by Strong Support

Off the back of what was a hugely encouraging 2018-19 season in 360 Sprintcars, Libby Ellis will take to the track with even more confidence and determination this season, having recently welcomed on board a new sponsor in Boodua Creek Barbecue Rubs.

Amongst a formidable field of rivals, many of whom have more experience, being able to achieve numerous pleasing results in what was her second season with the class was no easy feat for Ellis. However, it was her push for consistency and resolute attitude that made it possible.

Clinching a very competitive seventh-place finish in the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship at Toowoomba’s Hi-Tec Oils Speedway and a 14th-place result in the hotly-contested East Coast Logistics Series at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway, the Brisbane, Qld-based racer was also honoured by Queensland Sprintcars with the Encouragement Award; a great reward for her efforts.

Now heading into her third season in Sprintcar competition, the pilot of the NQ # 73 car, owned by Chris Trembath, is eager to get the season underway after welcoming Boodua Creek Barbecue Rubs to the fold.

“Without the support of businesses like Boodua Creek Barbecue Rubs, what we do simply wouldn’t be possible, so we’re beyond grateful for their contribution and we can’t thank them enough for becoming a part of our team this season,” expressed Ellis.

“We’re looking very forward to seeing what we can achieve when the season begins and we’re hoping to be able to continue building on last season’s momentum to improve on our series results.”

Owned by Denco, a butcher ingredient and supply company established in 1992, Boodua Creek offers a range of premium barbecue rubs to ensure that your barbecue is anything but boring. To find out more, visit their website at www.booduacreek.com.au.

Special thanks go to her partner and biggest supporter Anthony Vanderreyden, along with her crew chief Cody Reynolds, Erin Vanderreyden, and Kris Trembath.
