With the ever-growing Chariots of Thunder series already being announced, the 7mate Northline Speedway organisers are happy to release a 10 round Sprintcar Track Championship to pair with it. The Championship will strike into life May 12th. The series heads in for a big July with the Northern Territory Sprintcar title and supporting the Formula 500 Australian title.

August proves to be the biggest set of Sprintcar races the Northern Territory has ever held in its history. With the Chariots of Thunder series growing in its popularity the organisers have stepped up the prize pool of over $100,000 on top of a $20,000 bonus for the Pope Challenge to be paid out over the series.

Northern Territory Sprintcar Association and 7mate Northline Speedway have come to arrangement where all track championship rounds will now pay prizemoney in 2018. Something that has never been achieved before in the history of the club.

The Chariots of Thunder Series already has an excess of 35 expressions of interest from teams. The series success already has flow on affect with some Interstate hot shoes looking at competing some track championship rounds before to get the upper hand.

26th May – Saturday - ROUND 2 DARWIN Title

7th July- Saturday - ROUND 3 Norther Territory Title

27th July – Friday - ROUND 4 (Formula 500 AUS Title)
28th July – Saturday - ROUND 5 (Formula 500 AUS Title)

10th August – Friday - ROUND 6

17th August – Friday - Chariots of Thunder Round 1 / TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 7
18th August – Saturday - Chariots of Thunder 2 / TRACK
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 8

24th August – Friday - Chariots of Thunder Round 3 / TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 9
25th August – Saturday - Chariots of Thunder Round 4 / TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 10
