Green Brothers Racing will again provide assistance toward the development of another young sprintcar racer this Saturday night.
Sixteen-year-old Ben Morris, son of Maxwill Engines guru Peter Morris, will make his 410 sprintcar debut during the SA club show at Murray Bridge Speedway.
He will follow the likes of fellow young talents Kayla Green, Max Johnston and Kiwi visitor Stephen Taylor in hopping into the team’s #74 Maxim during the 2017-18 season.
Team boss Trevor Green is once again looking forward to helping nurture the promising talents of yet another emerging young driver.
“Pete Morris has looked after myself and the likes of fellow past SA racers Mark Gilbert and Phil March through our competition days, so it exciting for all of us to see Benny start his sprintcar career,” outlined Green.
“Ben is a go kart racer who has already had a couple of practice runs in other cars, so we are happy to give him the chance to have a competitive drive for us.
“He will take over the seat from Steve Taylor who has now returned to NZ after further promising performances on the Easter Trail.
“On some tricky tracks, Steve kept his nose clean and got some good laps in and added further experience.
“Steve looks to have a bright future ahead of him and we are happy to have played a part in his development over a few meetings and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
Once again, as the season draws to a close, Green Brothers Racing acknowledges the support of Natrad Radiators and Auto Air, SA Motorcycles, Active Vac, Vin’s Mini Buses, Steve Wicks Powder Coaters, Titan Garages And Sheds, Monster Slam, Go Left Designs, Florite Coatings, Freightmasters, Green Welding, Dennis and Dottie Farr, Murray Machining and Sheds, Vortex Wings, BJ Signs and GI Safety Solutions over the 2017-18 campaign.
