KIWI TO FLY AT BRIDGE
Author : Jeff Pistola

Green Brothers Racing have made a late entry to compete in this Saturday night’s Ross Wright Memorial event at Murray Bridge Speedway.
The team’s #74 Maxim will be piloted by 22-year-old New Zealand visitor Stephen Taylor.
The Wellington native will join Kayla Green and Max Johnston in having driven the car in sprintcar competition this season, and team boss Trevor Green is looking forward to the opportunity.
“I met Stephen during my last trip to the US when helping Tim Kaeding, as Stephen was working with Jason Sides,” reflected Green.
“It’s something we have spoken about doing all season and we finally both have a weekend free to do it.
“Stephen is a pretty handy young driver and is the North Island champion in NZ and and has also raced non-winged 410 sprintcars in Indiana in the US.
“It will be good to give him the chance to race for the first time here in SA and hopefully we can have a good night.”
The young Kiwi charger will be part of a current 29-car field to contest the event which honors past Murray Bridge racing stalwart, the late Ross Wright.
