Nominations are now starting to be received for the 2018 Di Candilo Steel City Australian 360ci Sprintcar Championship that will be held at the Perth Motorplex on March 17 & 18 with a handful of locals being the first drivers to put their hands up to compete.

Leading the entry current list is regular open racer Jason Kendrick, who was one of the standouts of last season’s event. Kendrick was outstanding on night 1 of the 2017 Title winning the Preliminary A-Main before finishing on the final step of the podium in the 40 lap Championship decider behind Jamie Veal and Luke Dillon.

After spending time on the East-Coast recently racing with the 360ci Allstars Series Port Headland’s Jamie Landrigan will head home to Western Australia with plenty of laps under his belt and he will be full of confidence having just come off a top 5 result at his most recent outing at the Sunline Speedway at Waikerie last weekend.

Daniel Keen is another local Western Australian who will be hoping for a better result than last season’s Championship where he failed to finish the main event while Ryan Lancaster, Troy Lawson, Paul Peet and Darren Mewett have also got their nominations in early.

The 2018 Di Candilo Steel City Australian 360ci Sprintcar Championship will be held at the Perth Motorplex, Kwinana Beach on Saturday March 17 & Sunday March 18, 2018.
