The beginning of the South Australian Speedway season is less than a month away with the first official Practice to be held at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway on Saturday September 9, 2017.

The practice will be open to all divisions with the track being open for five hours between 3pm and 8pm with vehicle scrutineering from 12pm.

During the off season 1000 tonnes of fresh clay has been added to the racing surface therefore this will be the first opportunity to gain some track time on the new race track in preparation for the 2017/18 racing season. In addition to September 9 the track will hold a second practice session on September 23 with the official season opener on September 30, featuring Wingless Sprints, Speedcars, Formula 500’s, Modlites, AMCA Nationals, Street Stocks and Junior Sedans.
