After more than a month off Brenten Farrer will return to Sprintcar racing this Saturday night as he ventures to one of his favourite race tracks to contest the SRA 360ci Sprintcar Challenge at the Heartland Raceway at Moama. Already this season Brenten has enjoyed several strong runs in his Frijtek Industrial Refrigeration #34 at the venue in both 360ci and 410ci competition including a 360ci feature race victory with the Australian 360ci Sprintcar All-stars.

Initially Brenten had planned to park it up for the rest of the season following his heartbreaking 1 point loss in the 2016/17 All-stars Series point score but the chance to race at one of his favourite tracks for one last time this season was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

“Losing the series by 1 point after being taken out of the final race was hard to take as we were the best car on the night but I still have a chance to win the SRA 360ci point score so we will give that Championship a crack this weekend. Since I changed over to the Maxim we have been really fast every time we have put it on the track so let’s hope it continues at Moama. I finished second in this race last year so we will be aiming for one spot better” added Brenten.

Going into this Saturday night’s 360ci Sprintcar Challenge Brenten has been one of the most outstanding 360ci Sprintcar drivers in Australia having recorded a total of 6 podium results and he stands a good chance to add to this tally on the weekend.

Brenten would like to thank the following corporate supporters for their involvement in the 2016/17 Sprintcar Season: Frijtek Industrial Refrigeration, B&G Clancy Farm Contracting, Remote Tree Services, Ayross racing, B.A.T Training and Assessments, BNR Race Engines, Kouda Signs, PRP Engineering, JB Speedway Spares and Phil Michell Motorsport Media.
