Author : Ken Brown

The J&S Drilling Team will feature a two-pronged attack in the Australian 360 Sprintcar Championship at the Perth Motorplex tonight and on Saturday.
Leading driver Cameron Gessner will drive the J&S #68 car, while teenager Kaiden Manders will be behind the wheel of the J&S #60 machine.
Gessner is a former Queensland Sprintcar Champion who has resided in the west for the past few years.
He won the season long AHG Sprintcar Series in 2012-13 and 2014-15.
Gessner finished third in the previous running of the Australian 360 Sprintcar title held in Mount Gambier (SA).
His brother Drew & father Noel and his old Queensland car owner Peter Green will be his crew chief for the week end.
Kaiden Manders will be competing in his first Australian 360 Sprintcar title and is looking to make his mark in the strong 38 car field.
Manders (19) has been a revelation in his first full season of racing for the J&S Drilling 360 Sprintcar Team.
He has contested all nine rounds of the 360 Sprintcar Power Series this summer season - winning rounds at the Perth Motorplex, Bunbury and Esperance.
Manders has also finished second in another four rounds and holds a massive 400 point lead in the series pointscore with a single round still to be held.
