The final field is set for the 2017 Di Candilo Steel City Australian 360ci Sprintcar Championship at the Perth Motorplex with 37 drivers set to fight it out for the National Crown. The event to be held between March 17 and 18 includes two former Australian Champions with current Champion Luke Dillon and fellow South Australian Chad Ely nominated to pilot Western Australian based cars. After his success last season at Mount Gambier Dillon will team up once again with Matt Muir while Ely will drive for the highly professional Diamond Bay Motorsports Team out of Bunbury.

Along with the South Australian drivers the field also includes Victorian standout Jamie Veal who will drive the Monte Motorsports #17 Maxim. After qualifying for the 360 title during the recent Western Swing of World Series Sprintcars Veal will attempt to claim his first ever Australian Sprintcar Title and after the disappointment of the 410ci Title in Sydney he will be keen to capture the 360 Title.

With Cameron Gessner now residing in Western Australia the only other interstate entry is that of Northern Territorian Tom Britton who has spent some time in Western Australia this season having competed at the WA Title at Collie earlier this year.
