Following on from a successful introduction last season, Penrith-based 410 Sprintcar team DC Motorsport is excited to announce Eagle Silicone Ignition Leads as their major sponsor for the 2016-17 season.

The team’s driver, Darryl Campbell, who races predominantly at Sydney’s Valvoline Raceway, couldn’t be more pleased about the partnership and believes it will lead to a strong 2016-17 season campaign.

“We’re extremely excited to join forces Eagle Silicone Ignition Leads,” expressed Campbell. “They’re also based in Penrith, so it’s fantastic that to see a local business supporting a local team. Eagle is renowned throughout the Australian motorsport scene for their huge range
of great products.”

100% Australian owned, Eagle Silicone Ignition Leads is the largest privately-owned ignition lead company in the country. Established in 1984 (formerly Weston Wire Co), they stock a large range of premium ignition leads to suit any race car. They are the official team suppliers to a number of larger Australian motorsport teams, such as Red Bull Racing Australia in V8 Supercars, and also offer Lead Separators, Chrome Exhausts and VoltMax Battery Cables.

Robert Dane, owner of Eagle Silicone Ignition Leads, is equally pleased about the new partnership with DC Motorsport.

“Darryl is an absolute professional,” commented Dane. “His car, team and transporter are always immaculately presented, so we know that our brand will be represented well.

“We’re extremely happy to be supporting a local driver and we believe this partnership is going to be mutually beneficial for the both of us.”

In readiness for the 2016-17 season, Campbell has recently purchased a pair of brand-new COOL Chassis, which are powered by 410ci Chrysler and Mopar engines that have been freshened up by Adrian Maher at Hi-Tech Dynamic Engine Balancing.
