Valvoline Raceway and the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship present Ultimate Pink Night, this Saturday night February 13th.

For the very first time, Sydney’s iconic Valvoline Raceway encourages all fans to don pink and donate on the night to the National Breast Cancer Foundation – with 100% of all funds raised heading straight to this remarkable charity.

What’s more, in another first, all women will be welcome free of charge. That’s right. All women of all ages will enjoy free entry to this very special evening of racing.

Says Steve Green, MD of Valvoline Raceway; “There are so many people within our speedway family who have been touched in one way or another by breast cancer. So when it came to choosing a main charity to support, the National Breast Cancer Foundation was a no brainer. We’ve all had or know of mothers, sisters, aunts, wives affected by this awful disease, so we decided that not only will we be asking for donations, but we will open the gates and welcome all women with open arms at no cost.”

Apart from this being a night for fans to show support, racing teams alike are getting into the spirit of the evening, with many ‘pinking their rides’.

Complimenting Ultimate Pink Night will be a special Dumesny family race. Legendary racer Max Dumesny joins his wife Melinda, and kids Mitchell, Matt, Michaela, and Marcus in Ultimate Sprintcars for a Dumesny-only family grudge race.

It is believed that this is a world first where 6 members of the one immediate family will contest a Sprintcar race.

“When I agreed to do this I don’t think any of us had any idea of what might be involved,” says Max Dumesny, “as we’re getting closer to this Saturday I’m still not sure what we’re getting ourselves into but the public reaction has been pretty amazing. It’s obviously something that people want to see.”

Saturday night’s competition will see the 17th round of the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship NSW, Legend Cars and Wingless Sprints on the program.

Gates open 2pm. Action from 5.30pm. Women FREE is for a general admission ticket.
