Murray Bridge Working Bee Progress: Report 1
Author : MBS

The first working bee for the off-season was held on Saturday with some significant progress on a number of projects evident, thanks to the good turn out of volunteers – many regular faces, and some new ones which was great to see.

Jobs in progress/completed:
•Repairs to turn 3 pit stands
•Erection of some hot zone barriers
•Preparation of turn 1 spectator terracing, removing old wooden sleepers
•Repairs to catch fencing
•Removal of built up track material on concrete fence
•Placement of infield barriers
•Installation of bollards on ramp near clubrooms in pits

The next working bee will be conducted on Saturday 8th August, then 29th August, and it would be great to see some new faces including driver members come and assist. Lunch and refreshments are provided. The practices planned for September will be dependant upon these jobs being completed, especially the installation of the infield barriers.

Thanks to all who have assisted so far.
