The run to victory lane continued for J&J Auto Racing teams last weekend in Sprint car action. Donny Schatz remained extremely hot winning three consecutive World of Outlaws A-Feature events and was joined in the winner's circle by fellow J&J racers Josh Weller in URC, Jared Zimbardi in PST, Chris Shirek in NOSA, and Matt Hope in Carolina Racesaver action.

WORLD OF OUTLAWS

Donny Schatz and his Tony Stewart Racing team continued to lead the way with the World of Outlaws. Schatz wheeled the TSR No. 15 Bad Boy Buggies/Chevrolet Performance J&J to victories first at Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids, Minneosta, then at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D. and finally at Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, S.D.

After winning the previous week at Knoxville Raceway and Huset's Speedway, Schatz made it three in a row with a thrilling late-race charge at Granite City. Schatz qualified second and started the main event fourth. He moved from fourth into second between laps 24 and 28 and grabbed the lead with two to go and went on to score the victory.

Friday night Schatz was again a man on a mission qualifying second and finishing second in the dash. He took the lead on lap three and led the rest of the way in the 40-lap A-Feature to take his fifth career WoO win at the high-banked, dirt oval, fourth consecutive and 15th WoO A-Feature victory of the 2015 season.

Schatz and his TSR team continued the victory parade Saturday at Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, S.D. In the Outlaws debut at the half-mile dirt oval, Schatz qualified third and started third in the 30-lap A-Feature. He exchanged the lead with Daryn Pittman on lap five before taking the lead for good on lap 10. The Fargo, N.D. racer would lead the final 20 laps to take the win, his 16th of the season.

URC SPRINT CARS

Josh Weller earned a much-needed victory last Friday night at Big Diamond Speedway behind the wheel of the Eldreth Trucking No. 25 J&J in the 25-lap URC Sprints feature event. Weller took the lead on the second lap and held the post when the race was restarted on lap three. He held the top spot until the race was slowed again on lap 18. Once again, Weller pulled away on the restart and built a strong lead until a red flag on lap 22. When the race resumed, Weller continued to lead the pack and won the three lap shootout to earn his first victory of 2015.

Robbie Stillwaggon raced the No. 89 J&J to a fifth-place finish and Randy West finished seventh in the Fred Kennedy's No. 56 J&J.

NOSA

Chris Shirek (No. 1k J&J) was awarded the win in the NOSA Sprint car feature event at Devil's Lake Speedway in Doyon, N.D. after officials ruled him the winner. The win for Shirek was his first of the season and 15th career NOSA triumph.

PATRIOT SPRINT TOUR

Jared Zimbardi made it consecutive weekends with a win by taking the main event at Oshweken Speedway in Ontario Friday night. Zimbardi out-dueled Todd Hiddick during the middle stages of the 25-lap main event and wheeled his No. 35 J&J to victory.

CAROLINA RACESAVER

Matt Hope became the first repeat winner in Carolina Racesaver action this season with his triumph at Sumter Speedway. Hope raced his No. 28 J&J to victory in his heat and won a thrilling early-race battle with fellow J&J racer Mike Leraas (No. 77 J&J). Desptie numerous attempts by Leraas, Hope led the distance and picked up his second victory of the season.
