WINNERS KEEP ADDING UP FOR J&J AUTO RACING

The winning continued for J&J Auto Racing teams last weekend at dirt tracks across the United States. Donny Schatz picked up two more wins with the World of Outlaws and Cap Henry swept the weekend in Ohio. Jared Hortsman and Matt Hope where also J&J winners last weekend. while Matt Moro won the previous week at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

WORLD OF OUTLAWS

Donny Schatz continued his remarkable start to the 2015 World of Outlaws campaign by scoring two more wins this past weekend racing the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) No. 15 Bad Boy Buggies/Chevrolet Performance J&J. Schatz, the six-time and reigning WoO champion, raced to victory Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway and Sunday at Weedsport Speedway.

Schatz was the third fastest qualifier at Williams Grove in the field of 40 cars and advanced into the dash through his heat race. He won the dash and started the 25-lap A-Feature from the pole and chased early leader Greg Hodnett. Schatz took the lead late in lap 17 and led the final eight laps to pick up his ninth WoO win of the season and 19th career triumph at Williams Grove.

After Mother Nature washed out Saturday's race at Williams Grove, Schatz and his TSR team made their debut at Weedsport Speedway in New York Sunday. He again qualified third and earned the pole position after starting fourth in the dash. Schatz led all 30 laps and made Weedsport the 72nd different track where he's earned a WoO career feature win.

Chad Kemenah finished third at Weedsport in the Rob and Rita Hunter No. 10h J&J.

ATTICA RACEWAY PARK

Cap Henry picked up his first victory of the season Friday night at Attica Raceway Park driving the Genzman Racing No. 53 Level Performance/Ludwig Propane/Kear’s Speed Shop/Handy Grafix sponsored J&J. Henry took the lead from Dale Blaney on lap two and would lead the rest of the way to capture the victory.

“It’s hard to win races starting 20th but these guys…Jamie, Guy, Ryan….they all have been working hard all year and gave me great cars from the get-go," admitted Henry in victory lane. "We had to finally just capitalize on it."
FREMONT SPEEDWAY

Cap Henry made it a weekend sweep Saturday night at Fremont Speedway piloting the Genzman Racing No. 53 J&J to the winner's circle after a thrilling race with Byron Reed.

“This goes out to Guy, Ralph, Marilyn, Ryan and Jamie," said Henry. "I think they changed the set-up every time we hit the race track tonight. They kept getting it better and better. I told Guy (Meyers, crew chief) hey, it’s in your hands…keep doing it. I can’t thank those guys enough. This is just awesome.”

EAST LINCOLN SPEEDWAY

Matt Hope raced to victory last Saturday night at East Lincoln Speedway in the Carolina Racesaver Sprint Car Series event. Hope raced Rich Wetmore's No. 28h J&J to victory in the main event..

SPRINTS ON DIRT - PLYMOUTH SPEEDWAY

Jared Hortsman earned his first victory of the season Saturday night in the Engine Pro Sprints on Dirt event at Plymouth Speedway. Hortsman (No. 17 J&J) shared the front row with fellow J&J racer Ryan Ruhl (No. 16 J&J). Ruhl got the early lead, but Hortsman took command on lap four and never looked back. Ruhl would finish second to give J&J a one-two sweep.

IOWA STATE FAIRGROUNDS

Matt Moro raced Mike VanderEcken's No. 10 J&J to victory at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on May 8 to score his first win of the season.

PERTH MOTORPLEX - 360 CHAMPIONSHIPS
