Sun Sets On Another Classic As We Thank Those That Made It Happen
Author : Premier Speedway Media

The 2015 Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic may now be archived away as the 43rd chapter in this long running event, however it would be remiss of us not to acknowledge the support of our fantastic sponsors and contingency award supporters.

Firstly to Jeff Pahlke and the entire team at Lucas Oil we extend a massive thank you as we look forward to continuing to work with you and the entire Lucas Oil team going forward.

To our major supporting sponsors Oval Express Magazine, The Lady Bay Resort, KRE Race Engines and GJ Gardner Homes in Warrnambool we quite simply could not put on three nights of racing like we do without your input.

To Max Dumesny Motorsport and Freddy Baker for your support of the Fan Appreciation Day, I am sure the drivers who won the tyres simply for turning up on Saturday morning are very appreciative.

To Rodney McKenzie and the guys at R & M Security for their support of the Premier Speedway Maintenance Committee Best Presented Car and Crew Award, I can assure you all that Corey McCullagh is still smiling after having received $1,500.00 and a pretty cool trophy.

Skwid Signs as always did a magnificent job of the Classic Cheque and their support of the Hard Charger award will no doubt see Daniel Pestka and his car owner Matt Eastham make good use of a complete Sprintcar wrap at some point!

The Thomo’s Race Graphix Hard Luck Award went the way of David Murcott following his heartbreaking DNF in the final.

Finally on behalf of Avalon Raceway, Borderline Speedway and Premier Speedway we would like to extend our congratulations to Kyle Hirst and the Monte Motorsport Team on collecting the $1000.00 bonus that accompanies the Ian Sheppard Memorial Trophy for an outstanding contribution to not only the Classic but also the President’s Cup and the Kings Challenge.

End Release.
