Toby Bellbowen and the team are back in action at Valvoline Raceway this Saturday night for another round of the ultra-competitive Sprintcar Track Championship.

It has been a busy time for the team after they returned from contesting the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in Warrnambool, Victoria last weekend. With 108 cars entered for the event, Toby finished 4th in the D-Main which was an admirable result given Toby had never raced in Warrnambool prior to last weekend.

“It wasn't great by any means but we got out of it what we wanted. I've only ever raced 5 nights away from Valvoline Raceway, and finally I am able to get some experience somewhere else,” Toby said.

“You're racing with professional race car drivers that have won multiple races at Warrnambool, it's always going to be a tough gig.

“That being said, it was a massive step in the right direction. Hopefully I can get more experience elsewhere soon and then we'll get a proper idea of where I am at.

As the focus now turns back to Valvoline Raceway, just seven rounds remain in the track championship and the time to stamp authority is now at an all-time high.

“We want wins. We can do it. We learnt a lot last weekend that we can take back to Valvoline Raceway. We are sitting strong in the championship and I look forward to carrying that to the end of the year.

“We need our consistent podium finishes that I know we are capable of. We've had a tough run come feature time lately, and it's time to turn it all around. You're not going to get to the lead in one race, so we'll use all 7 of those rounds to do the job.”

Racing this Saturday night will commence at 6pm.
