Daniel in the new Revolution Racegear RPM triple layer race suit

Merry Xmas….Lets Go Racing!!!!
Author : FR Media

Once the Christmas festivities are done, it’s time to put on the fireproof Racesuit, jump into the chrome moly rocketship and battle it out at the opening round of the World Series Sprintcar Championship at the Speedway City race track in Adelaide on Boxing Night.

The christmas period is one to enjoy, relax and spend some quality time with family and loved ones. For the Harding family that will be done, not within the confine of the family home but rather inside the confines of dirt tracks around Australia.

WSS Speedweek commences on Boxing Night and Daniel Harding and the entire Harding Racing team are champing at the bit to get going. “It’s time to get serious” said Daniel this week. “Time to stop trying new ideas with the car, knuckle down and put our best foot forward. As a contracted driver I want to get some results and show the fans and our corporate partners that we just aren't out here to make up the numbers”.

So far it’s been an up and down season, literally, for the west coast Sprintcar racer. Consistent results, mixed in with a couple of roll overs have seen the driver of the One Life/Rentco HR12 leave his home state leading the local domestic series.

“That was a bit of a surprise considering our results last time out. We decided to play the ‘Joker’ card for double points at the recent WA Championship. We probably had our worst result apart from when we have crashed in finishing thirteenth, so to be leading the points shows that we have been finishing closer to the front than the rear come the finals, which is good, proving we are finding some car speed during the A-Mains. I just have to get better results in Time Trials to help us start a little further forward come the finals”.

The past couple of shows have seen the team try a couple of new ideas and parts on the Maxim Chassis in readiness for the upcoming campaign on WSS. “While a few of these ‘new tricks’ didn't work, the beauty about it is that we learnt a fair bit about the new cars. Some people would think it would leave us dejected, well maybe a bit with the results but we have worked on a lot of things and it gives us a lot of confidence heading away from home. With he knowledge we gained last year plus what we have tried here at home makes us feel pretty good for the opening round for WSS” said crew chief Trevor Harding this week.

Daniel was also able to debut his new Revolution Racegear prepared One Life/Rentco race suit. “It feels as good as it looks. I cant thank all the team at Revolution enough for getting it to me in such quick fashion so we could have it available for WSS” stated the happy recipient of this quality piece of gear.

Since the last race on December the 13th, the team has rebuilt and prepared three cars, loaded the transporter and the two Trevs, Snr and Jnr, have delivered all the bits and pieces to Adelaide ready to hit the WSS trail before returning home to spend Christmas Day with their families, then head back to Adelaide with the rest of the crew to take on Australia’s best in the toughest road trip in the land.

For all the Harding Racing fans, the new merchandise is loaded up in the truck ready for purchase, so all those that have made enquiries through the Facebook page make sure you catch the guys at the track to pick up one of the shirts, hoodies, hats or other merchandise the team has available.

From all of us at the Harding Racing Team, we wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. Please stay safe, enjoy the festive season and make sure you head to your local track to see us race and chase some WSS glory. See you all real soon!!!
