ROBBIE RACES BACK TO OZ WITH KIWI SPOILS
Author : ECP Racing

Robbie Farr and the ECP Racing Team turn their attention to home soil this Saturday as they compete at Premier Speedway Warrnambool fresh off a dominating performance in New Zealand over the last two weeks.

Farr wound up the ECP Team’s blitzkrieg run at Western Springs and Palmerston North Speedways in the Porter Hire International Series with the overall team win for Australia (pairing with James McFadden) and the Man of the Series award.

“We had a pretty phenomenal trip,” grins Farr, “we basically led and won everything we went in and we’d qualified on pole for the final night’s A-Main before the rain came and unfortunately cancelled the rest of the night. All in all though, we had a tremendous run and we did Australia proud.”

Farr was glowing in his praise of the two Speedways.

“The whole event they run over there is fantastic. The tracks themselves were great to race on, the teams concept is cool and the race surfaces we raced on made it a pleasure. We’re all grateful for the hospitality of the New Zealand promoters, the fans and the teams. It’s been a fun trip but it’s time to focus on our last race before Christmas this weekend.”

After this weekend at Warrnambool it’s back to Sydney for the International events on December 26, December 27, December 30, January 1, January 3 and January 5.

“We only have this race at Warrnambool before we return there for The Classic,” Farr explains, “so we need to get the most out of this Saturday. It’s also a good chance for anyone who would like to buy some of our merchandise just in time for Christmas.”

Speaking of Christmas…

“On behalf of everyone at ECP Racing we’d like to wish our sponsors, our fans and our rivals a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope everyone takes it safely on the roads and we look forward to seeing everyone over the next few weeks.”
