The Essendon Autogroup Sprintcar team have their equipment packed and ready to venture north for the East Coast Sprintcar Series.

The team loaded the transporter during the week with the required inventory to take them through the 6 night series.

Team principal David Dickson will pilot the transporter leaving Geelong on Monday travelling through to Brisbane where David’s brother Andrew will take over driving duties to complete the journey further north to arrive at Cairns for the series opener on August 29th.

After the completion of Cairns two night event part of the team will enjoy a brief stop over north of Cairns before heading south to Mackay and then Toowoomba over consecutive weekends. This is a huge commitment from the team in only their second year of competition as the majority will be flying in and out for the events. At the conclusion of the East Coast Series the team will then prepare the cars to tackle the extensive Victorian calendar which involves the SRA Eureka Garages and Sheds Series along with the marque feature events on the Victorian calendar.

The driver of the V3 Essendon Autogroup Maxim Doman Ramsay is looking forward to starting the new season. Domain commented “I am looking forward to improving with the new team. It is a great opportunity to head north with the boys and get some laps in on 3 tracks we have never been to. This allows us to get some valuable laps prior to the opening round of the Eureka Series”.

If you are attending any of the East Coast Sprintcar Series rounds please come down and meet the team.
