SCHATZ CONTINUES KNOXVILLE DOMINANCE FOR J&J

McKENZIE, TN - During Sprint Car Racing's biggest week, J&J Auto Racing teams continued to lead the way in performance. Donny Schatz helped continue J&J's winning streak at the Knoxville Nationals, extending it to nine consecutive years a J&J Auto Racing car has won the sport's biggest race. Schatz kept up his winning ways following his fourth consecutive Nationals triumph by winning his 14th WoO A-Main of the season Tuesday night in Nebraska. Tony Fiore, Andrew Palker and Kyle Sager were also winners in J&J's last week.

KNOXVILLE NATIONALS - DONNY SCHATZ

Donny Schatz continued to build his legacy at the Knoxville Nationals by winning his eighth Knoxville A-Main in the last nine seasons. Since 2006, Tim Shaffer, in Janet Holbrook's No. 83 J&J back in 2010, has been the only driver to beat the Fargo, N.D. racer. In this year's Nationals, Schatz earned the most points (492) in preliminary action to secure the pole for the TSR No. 15 STP/Armor All/Crimsafe J&J. He finished fourth in his preliminary feature and started the 50-lap A-Main from the pole. Schatz would lead 49 of the 50 laps.

Other solid Knoxville performances:

Jeff Swindell (No. 94 J&J) led the first half of Thursday's A-Main before being passed by fellow J&J racer Sam Hafertepe, Jr. (No. 15H J&J). Hafertepe would lead late before finishing second. Hafertepe and Tim Shaffer (No. 45 J&J) would join Schatz in the top-20 overall and be locked into the A-Main. Lee Jacobs (No. 81 J&J) finished fourth in the B-Main Saturday to transfer into the A.

WORLD OF OUTLAWS - DONNY SCHATZ

Donny Schatz made it two straight wins Tuesday night with a strong performance in eastern Nebraska at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb. Schatz started the night by qualifying the TSR No. 15 STP/Armor All/Crimsafe sponsored J&J second overall. He then raced from fourth to first in heat two before starting the 30-lap A-Feature fifth. In the first nine laps, he worked his way up to second and made a pass for the lead in turns three and four to lead lap 10. Once in front, he pulled away to score his 160th career WoO A-Feature triumph.

SUSQUEHANNA SPEEDWAY PARK - TONY FIORE

Tony Fiore recently picked up his first career victory at Susquehanna Speedway Park in Pennsylvania. The second-year driver raced his No. 91 J&J to the victory on Aug. 2 and then came back last weekend and made it two in a row.

EL PASO MOTORSPORTS PARK - KYLE SAGER

Kyle Sager continued his winning ways last Saturday night at El Paso Motorsports Park in western Texas. Sager drove his No. 9K J&J to victory for the fifth time in 2014.

WAYNE CO. SPEEDWAY - ANDREW PALKER

Andrew Palker earned his second victory of the season at NAPA Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. Palker out-dueled fellow J&J racer Brad Haudenschild during the race's middle stages before pulling away in his No. 57x King Inspection, Albright Trucking and El Campesino Restaurant backed J&J. The win was his second of the season.
