Taylor Made Wings are the first industry supplier to throw their support behind the new SA Sprintcar Series, confirming they will provide prizes as every round.

Taylor Made Wings owner Mark Taylor confirmed today that a front wing will be given away to a contracted team at all twelve rounds, while a top wing will be provided for an end of season award.

“This is a great contingency award worth almost $3,000 and we thank Mark for getting behind the series,” said series spokesman Tim McAvaney.

“Taylor Made Wings have been the leading brand on the European oval racing scene for over 15 years. Mark now brings this wealth of experience and success to Australia, and in a short space of time, has had both 410 and 360 sprint car wins on the cars of Matt Egel and Brendan Quinn.”

”Ryan Jones amongst others will also be using Taylor Made this season.”

“Taylor Made Wings also provide a repair service and being a local South Australian business also has its advantages with less freight costs.”

While initially concentrating on Sprintcar wings last season, they can also cover general fabrications, such as aluminium welding etc.

Mark can be contacted on 0415 503 515 for all your wing and fabrication needs.

Meanwhile, driver interest on the series has been very strong, with more than a dozen drivers formally expressing interest in the last week, in becoming a contracted driver.

“I think we could end up with up 15 to 20 cars contracting to the series” said McAvaney.

“And that may also include interstate drivers.”

“One things is for sure – the announcement of the series last week has everyone talking in SA!”
