Robbie Farr & the East Coast Pipeline Racing team ventured to their season kick off at Mackay last weekend for the Precise Corporation $10,000 to win spectacular.

Robbie and the team were on track Friday night, recording the fastest qualifying time, two solid results in the heats & subsequently led every lap of the 20 lap feature event. As the door closed on the ECPR transporter friday night the team were in good shape and confident going into Saturday night.

Saturday night started out the same way with everything going to plan, and Robbie put the ECPR #7 on pole for the all important $10,000 to win feature event. Robbie choose to start on the inside row at the outset of the feature and led into the first corner where he remained after several restarts, only to have a tyre problem mid way through the race. Robbie did try to hold onto the car for as long as he possibly could but in the end had to concede to the infield.

While speaking to Robbie on his arrival back to Perth he stated, "it was a bitter pill to swallow especially as we were so good off the blocks, I'm very happy where the team is at and to continue our form from last season rolling into this one is great for morale, we will re-group & head to Brisbane for the opener on the 29th, where we will try to put this Hi-Tech Oils #7 on the winners dais"
