In what seems a full circle ride for Ryan Farrell, he will return to racing full time in the west this season with long time backer Russell Hall from the Bunbury Autogroup for season 2012/13 aboard the #26 Diamond Bay Motorsports Maxim.

Farrell has been a stand out in any car over the last 5 years, he was known as a hired gun for the past two seasons driving up to 5 different cars last season alone, in anyones mind that is hard work. Not only 5 cars, but 5 different crew chiefs, 5 different car owners & it goes on & on.

The main thing Ryan Farrell wanted this season was stability, he was offered rides on the east coast at different times & locations, but to secure a ride with a Bunbury Based team is something that appealed to Ryan straight away.

The Russell Hall Bunbury Autogroup Backed deal came about with the support of Diamond Bay Motorsport, a Bunbury based team looking for a driver who could give back to their sponsors a full time commitment & this is where Farrell slotted straight in.

This up coming season Farrell will do somewhere between 16 & 20 shows on the west coast with no immediate plans at this stage to head east, but that could change at anytime.

The team will be concentrating on the Perth AHG Series, WA Rounds of World Series Sprintcar's, Krikke Boys Race, WA State Title as well as other blue ribbon events in Western Australia.

For Bunbury Autogroup & Russell Hall it was about getting back to basics & Getting Farrell back on the track in WA where his fans want him most, love him or hate him there is no denying that Farrell has a fleet of fans where ever he goes, at most venues you will have 50% of the crown cheering him, 50% of the crown booing him but one thing Russell Hall loves is that Farrell has 100% of their attention, & thats what Hall loves about Sprintcar Racing.

Farrell commented to me recently "Im looking forward to getting back to what i know, the cars are what I'm used to, motor program is good & only going to get better, the tracks I know, the crew I worked with before & had a lot of success, familiar sponsor with Russell hall so from my end everything looks to be on track, the only thing I need now is a race date to kick things off & we will be good to go. Russell Hall has been a big supporter of mine for many years & we have developed a great friendship and when we sat down & had a chat about this deal, it all just felt right to make it happen. I cant thank the boys from Diamond Bay Motorsport for the opportunity to drive their car, I plan to give them as much on track success as i possibly can, and i look forward to running around Bunbury Speedway most of all"
