For our first season out with this new car and new team, we decided to put our main focus on supporting & competing in the Australian 360 Sprintcar All Stars Series run by the very professional All Stars team with Mandy Searle at the realm.

It was a 8 round series with a big commitment to a fair amount of travelling to tracks in Victoria & South Australia. We hoped to put up a good show and make ourselves known in this new division. How it all panned out exceeded our wildest expectations !

Once we got to the pointy end of the season we had a couple of new feature win trophies in the trophy cabinet and we found ourselves sitting in a very impressive position, the team was working beautifully together, Harley had settled into the new car exceptionally well and at the end of the 8 rounds and being the only team to have won multiple feature wins during the series, the Bishop Motorsport Team had won the Australian 360 Sprintcar All Stars Series Championship and to say we were ecstatic would be an understatement. We now have a spare chassis for our efforts and to top it off Harley was also awarded the series Rookie of the Year and John the crew chief of the year – life was good !

For the remainder of the season we competed at Simpson for the Victorian Championship and Warrnambool for the Tyson Perez memorial, unfortunately our run of good luck didn’t continue at these 2 events and we didn’t get the results we would of liked, but we showed we were competitive and have the equipment to run with the best of the best.
