The Sprintcar Association of NSW held its annual presentation night awards dinner last Saturday night (May 16th) at the St Marys Leagues Club.
Tuesday April 28, 2009.
The American Tires sponsored 6th and final round of the “Thunder Thru the Plains” Sprintcar series has been won in dominating fashion by Loudoun family racing driver Ian Loudoun in the Blackshaws Body Repairs #18 J&J.
Wednesday April 22, 2009.
The “XXX Race Co” sponsored Round 5 of the “Thunder Thru the Plains” Sprintcar series was taken out by Loudoun Family racing team driver Adrian Maher in the Integrity Locksmiths #10.
Thursday April 16, 2009.
The “XXX Race Co” sponsored Round 5 of the “Thunder Thru the Plains” Sprintcar series is heading to Gunnedah Speedway this Saturday the 18th April in what is sure to be an action packed night of sprintcar racing.
Wednesday April 1, 2009.
The final sprintcar meeting of the 2008/9 at Sydney’s Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway developed into a Max and Mitch show with the two Dumesny’s fighting it out for the 30 lap series final. At the checker it was the Valvoline Maxim of Max Dumesny which took out the final race with a fast finishing Danny Reidy and out going track champ Ian Loudoun finishing up in the minor places.

Although James Thompson narrowly missed out on a podium finish it was without a doubt one of the best drives of his 10 year Sprintcar career last Saturday night at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway (TPCR).

All roads lead to Dubbo this weekend as the NSW sprintcar’s return to the newly opened Dubbo Speedway for next round of the “Thunder thru the Plains” NSW Country Sprintcar series.
Monday March 2, 2009.
It should be remembered as the race of the year when last Saturday night Garry Brazier brilliantly took out his sixth NSW sprintcar title held at the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway. Brazier after losing a muffler and racing with a broken fuel tap, held off firstly Craig Brady, then David Anderson, Ian Madsen and Adrian Maher to score the crown. Finishing behind Brazier was Maher, Madsen with Brady, Anderson and Damian Abbott making up the top six.

Round 3 of the Performance Metals “Thunder Thru the Plains” Sprintcar series is in the books with a dominant performance by Toowoomba’s Peter Lack in the GW Racing Q58 machine.
Thursday February 19, 2009.
This Saturday night (February 22) the thundering 800 plus sprintcars hit the NSW country town of Gilgandra in round 2 of the “Thunder thru the Plains” NSW Country Sprintcar Series.
