The Sprintcar Association of NSW held its annual presentation night recently at the St Mary’s Leagues Club and in front over almost two hundred drivers, families, friends and sponsors the evening was certainly a success.

The NSW title was always going to be a hotly contested event. 45 cars signed under very heavy skies but the Ferguson Autosports team was confident of great results, even if they weren’t confident of the weather.

Warren Ferguson’s return to sprintcars has stepped up a few notches since the inception of the Ferguson Autosports race team in January 2008. Saturday April 5th was no exception with the 2 - time PCR feature winner of the past showing he has the speed to climb back into the winner’s circle.
Friday April 4, 2008.
It was the race that was destined not to be. Last Saturday night the Ferguson Auto sport team headed back to Parramatta City Raceway to complete the Australian Title event already postponed twice due to wet weather.

It’s becoming that time of the year and the Sprintcar Association of NSW will be hold their annual Presentation and Awards dinner on Saturday night May 24.
Tuesday March 18, 2008.
A late race charge from second generation sprintcar racer Mitch Dumesny saw his #77 Sid Moore owned sprintcar taking out a superb Parramatta City raceway sprintcar A Main victory last Saturday night, Mitch’s first ever victory. Dumesny stormed into the lead late in the 30 lap blasting by Kelly Linigen leaving the “gas girl’ to pick up second with Grant Tunks third.

With Deco Glaze director Jason Hedges and a number of his staff in the stands, the pressure was on for a great night from Warren and the Ferguson Autosports team. Nobody left disappointed.
Monday February 25, 2008.
It was his third Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway feature victory of the season when Ian Loudoun led home Marty Perovich and Roddy BellBowen to win last Saturday night’s sprintcar A Main. It looked like the race was Marty Perovich as his #17 Maxim led for most of the thirty lap feature but a fast finishing Loudoun stormed into the lead late in the race to score the win while team mate Adrian Maher lost third to a hard charging BellBowen on the final lap.
Monday February 18, 2008.
The sprintcar action finally reappeared last Saturday night at the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway and while young Mitchell Dumesny looked like he might score his maiden PCR sprintcar victory, it was the Bevelite Glass star Ian Loudoun who took out the win. Dumesny had to settle for second while Scott Darley finished home in third.

The young lions of the awesome Parramatta Posse Ian Loudoun and Mitchell Dumesny were the stars of a sensational main event – ultimately won by Loudoun – at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway, Saturday night, February 16.
