Keen Cleans Up at Awards Night
Author : Redline Media
The Sprintcar Association of Western Australia’s annual presentation night on Saturday night saw Bunbury’s Michael Keen take home six trophies, after what has been a stellar debut season in 360 Sprintcars.
An elated Keen was presented with the Western Australian 360 Sprintcar Title trophy off the back of his recent victory at the Perth Motorplex. He also received the 360 Sprintcars Power Series and Bunbury Track Championship winning trophies. The Power Series was won following a close battle with Aldo De Paoli that came down to the final round.
“My results in my debut season have certainly exceeded my expectations,” expressed Keen.
“To be honest, I really didn’t expect to be this competitive right off the bat, so to come away with both the Power Series and the Western Australian Title was absolutely amazing.”
Apart from the three series and championship trophies, Keen picked up a second place trophy in the Bonza 360 Championship point score behind De Paoli and was awarded the Achievement Award for the season.
“It’s been a big and satisfying season for us,” said Keen.
“I have to thank my team for all of the hard work and late nights they’ve put into the car, as well as our sponsors for all of their support. So much effort has gone into the success we’ve had and none of it would’ve been possible without them.”
