Tonight you could win the $17,000 package
Author : SSM
By the end of tonight your son or daughter could be the owner of a complete Speedway race team worth $17,000 yes it sounds unbelievable but it's true and all you have to do is make sure your at the Perth Motorplex tonight and are aged between 10 and 15 years don't own a speedway car or have a current racers licence and a brilliantly coloured and sign written junior sedan, a new tandem axle trailer, Valvoline oils package, and complete tool kit to assist you could be yours.
In addition Ellenbrook Speedway have kindly donated a family seasons pass for two adults and three kids and the Perth Motorplex have also assisted further, donating the competitor fees for the Fast series for Junior Sedans.
"It's brilliant that both tracks have assisted with some support to the package so whoever wins it can get straight into racing at Ellenbrook during winter leaning how to drive and eventually race and then as the winter season finishes the Perth Motorplex commences with the Fast Series so having both tracks supporting the what we are doing is awesome" Said Robert Watson owner of Watsons Express Transport.
Junior Sedan racing is by far one of the best avenues for kids to learn the Kraft of driving a car, from learning the basics of starting and stopping to controlling a car in a drift on dirt sliding sideways, emergency braking and hazard perception, are just a few of the things that kids learn to do when involved in Speedway racing.
" With Watsons Express Transport putting together a package like this so another child can literally get behind the wheel and start learning straight away is fantastic. The 17 to 24 year old population is way over represented in serious and fatal crash on our roads and allowing kids to get behind the wheel of a car and learn how to drive in all types of conditions in a controlled environment which will assist then once they get their licence is invaluable" said Darren Sutton National Junior sedan technical advisor.
