Titan Racing Usa To Close
Author : Titan Racing USA
Reeve Kruck is closing Titan Racing USA. After several successful years of competition with the World of Outlaws and domestic American Sprintcar competition Kruck has decided to sell the inventory and pull up stumps.
“It’s not a decision that I’ve made lightly,” says Kruck, “but it’s a decision I’m comfortable with. I’ve had many years on the road with Titan USA and for the most part it’s been an enjoyable experience. In recent times though those enjoyable experiences have been fewer than I would have liked, so I’m selling up. I have a policy in life and in business that if something’s not fun anymore I move on. And Sprintcar Racing in the USA isn’t fun for me any more, that’s all there is to it.”
Reeve Kruck is well known for putting his money where his mouth is.His ultra-professional Sprintcar operations on either end of the geographical spectrum (Australia and the USA) have always been at the cutting edge of technology and presentation.
“I like to think we have a reputation for doing things the right way,” he says, “and hopefully that’s the way Titan Racing USA will be remembered.”
There are many factors that have contributed to his decision to sell up.
“I’m a bit disappointed with a number of things in the American Sprintcar industry, and the Outlaws are one of those things for sure. My decision isn’t based on one thing however, it’s a combination. It’s not about Brooke or anything specific, I just think that the time has come to close the Titan door on this.”
So is this the end?
“I don’t think you can ever say never,” Kruck continues, “but right now it’s all for sale and I have several people interested in our inventory. I can’t tell you what the future holds but for now my time in the USA as a team owner is over.”
Reeve Kruck has invested heavily both financially and physically in the sport of Sprintcar Racing on two continents, in the process netting blue ribbon events like the Kings Royal (Eldora), the Gold Cup (Chico) and the World Series Sprintcars Championship (all with Daryn Pittman) to name a few.
Asked if the current global economic climate has had any bearing on his decision Kruck is clear.
“Businesses the world over are reviewing their expenditure and mine is no different, but this is not about the money, it’s about the enjoyment I get from my investment and the outside influences that can affect that.”
