This Saturday (February 29) might be the end of summer, but rest assured the action at Archerfield Speedway will be sizzling when round 12 of the East Coast Logistics Sprintcar Track Championship is decided, bringing together no less than five drivers who have secured feature race victories so far this season. In what has been of the most competitive seasons for some time with regard to the number of different drivers who have visited victory lane, Luke Oldfield, Brent Kratzmann, Mitchell Gee and Kevin Titman are amongst those who have tasted the spoils of victory and all five will be seeking further success when they hit the track this weekend.

Round ten of the Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series last night at Heartland Raceway was an interesting night after a short delay to get the meeting underway and then later on some of the track lights went out to delay the meeting again but the end result was Grant Anderson has continued his dominance at Heartland Raceway to take yet another Eureka Series A Main event from Terry Rankin who put in the most outstanding drive of the night, home in third place was the current Eureka Garages & Sheds Series Champion Corey McCullagh.

Sprintcars returned to Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway last night for the Mayor's Cup and another round of USC Sprintcars, with Andrew Scheuerle standing victorious at the end of a gruelling and action-packed twin features format. Lachlan McHugh, who was relegated to the rear of the field after a spin early in the first feature, claimed second ahead of Bryan Mann, with Mitchell Gee securing fourth, despite inverting the N65 racer in qualifying, failing to record a qualifying time and missing the first round of heats. Danny Reidy completed the top five finishers, an impressive drive from the rear of the field after being relegated to the rear towards the end of the first feature while running inside the top three.

Murray Bridge racer Ryan Jones captured his 32nd career Sprintcar A-Main victory and his first of his career at the Sunline Speedway last night in round 9 of the Mainline Dynalog Dynamometers Allstars Sprintcar Series. Driving the Scott Perrett owned #98 Triple X, Jones started the 30 lap final from position four and drove to the front making the pass for the lead on Mark Caruso on lap 8. From that point he was never headed winning the race comfortably ahead of Jarman Dalitz, who recorded his career best Allstars result, and Mark Caruso.

Kevin Titman was victorious in Round Eleven of the East Coast Logistics Sprintcar Series at Ausdeck Patios Archerfield Speedway last night, racing past the chequered flag ahead of Aaron Kelly and Mitchell Gee. Early leader Lachlan McHugh, who had a thrilling battle with Titman for the race lead, eventually finished fourth while Tim Farrell completed the top five in an action-packed affair.

Some ten rounds after his season-opening feature race success, Kevin Titman returned to victory lane at Ausdeck Archerfield Speedway on Saturday night (February 15), chasing down runaway leader Lachlan McHugh to win round eleven of the East Coast Logistics Sprintcar Track Championship. With McHugh relegated by race officials during a late restart, Aaron Kelly would find himself second at the chequer, with Mitchell Gee finishing third ahead of McHugh and Tim Farrell in a race the delivered some terrific racing in challenging conditions.

Matt Egel claimed his fourth career Ultimate Sprintcar Championship SA round victory on Saturday night at the Murray Machining and Sheds Speedway at Murray Bridge, on what proved to be a tough and controversial night.

For the second season in succession the South Australian Sprintcar Title will be staged at the Whyalla Speedway with the race paying $10,000 to the winner. Preparations for the rescheduled event are now underway with the title being held on March 14, 2020. Last night’s RD 8 of the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series saw Brenten Farrer in the Porker Transport VA27 take out his first A Main win for the season. Farrer dominated the night winning the Oval Express Magazine Quick Time Award, winning a heat as well as the Pole Shoot Out.

Warrnambool resident Jamie Veal is the new Australian Sprintcar Champion after capturing the Title in a bruising encounter at the Latrobe Speedway. After starting the 40-Lap Championship decider from the pole position it was far from an easy run for Veal who had to survive several challenges for the lead, including a move that saw Veal, James McFadden and Shaun Dobson race three wide through turn four as they battled for the top spot.
