Luke Oldfield has emerged the victor of Round One of the Queensland Ultimate Sprintcar Championship, holding off Robbie Farr and Jamie Veal to claim the $10,000 prize.
Farr claimed the Ian Boettcher Quicktime prize at the start of the night, before ruts developed through the middle of the turns, sending racers in all directions to find a consistent race line through the heats.
