Marcus Dumesny is the 2022 Titan Garages and Sheds SCCA Australian Sprintcar Champion.
It had been 20 years since his famous father Max won his final Aussie title at Parramatta and now the 22 year old third generation racer has his first.
In a dramatic 40-lap A-Main where some of the biggest names in the game traded some spectacular passes and passing attempts Dumesny emerged trium

Seemingly unburdened by the pressure of carrying a surname so firmly entrenched in Australian Sprintcar folklore, Marcus Dumesny delivered a stunning performance to win the 59th Australian Sprintcar Championship at Archerfield Speedway on Sunday night (May 1). Starting the 40-lap championship finale from row five, Dumesny was both patient and precise in his charge to the front and, as hi

His Dad won an Australian Speedway Solo Motorcycle Championship on home Queensland soil, and now 45 years ago Kevin Titman hopes to emulate John in this weekend’s Titan Garages and Sheds Australian Sprintcar Championship at Archerfield Speedway.

Bryan Mann is one of Australia’s most loved Sprintcar drivers. And people. The affable QLD wheel twister has done a million laps around his beloved Archerfield Speedway and though it’s never really clear how many more laps he has planned Bryan knows how to run at the front and make consistent circles at the tricky Colebard St layout.
One of several home town heroes who can come into t

This weekend is no different.

Five years ago Ian Madsen could almost feel the Australian Sprintcar Championship champagne bottle in his hand.
He was bullet fast around his beloved Valvoline Raceway and had the country’s best behind him as the laps dwindled and big brother Kerry began to make his move.
History will show that Kerry and Ian would finish an historic and very significant 1-2 for the last time ever a

The pair of them have Sprintcar history streaming through their bodies.
Born into the sport, though Matt was originally a handy MX racer, their path (like older brother Mitchell who was a two-time PCR Track Champion) was always going to lead to the winged monsters.

Aaron Kelly was pretty well born there. Archerfield Speedway has been the most significant location of his life outside of the family home, so the poignancy of a chance to race in what will be the last ever Australian Sprintcar Championship on ‘home clay’ is a moment not lost on the Springwood third generation racer.
In the short time he’s been in the game AK has achieved success in t

In 2019 the Australian Sprintcar Championship was held at Archerfield Speedway.
Hopes were high for a Queensland driver victory with a wide range of potential candidates.
The spotlight and burden of expectation burned white-hot on Luke Oldfield’s shoulders in particular however.
It was not ideal timing for him though.
It was an emotional time for him personally and whilst the
